Today we hear from Frankie and Mark at Big Day Print! As always on our Wonderful Wedding Suppliers feature we have asked a bunch of questions so you can find out some more about them and you can pick up some fab tips for your wedding planning!



Who are you and what do you do?

We are Big Day Print and we create personalised, unique and affordable wedding stationery for your big day. Our aim is to create stationery that mirrors you and your theme/colour scheme on paper. We are a new husband and wife business team based in Leeds – Frankie runs all the social media promotions and Mark is the graphic designer with 10 years worth of experience. Whatever you think of, we can transform that into a quality bespoke design and then print it and have it packaged ready for your special occasion.

What’s the best bit of advice you can give to couples in the planning process?

Frankie: Trust your gut – if you are able to chat to somebody and feel comfortable, they probably understand you and your needs. Also, be open to ideas: they are the specialists and no-one wants you to have a bad day.

Mark: Ask as many questions as you can and get as much information as possible. Don’t make any rash decisions and shop around. Cheap doesn’t always mean rubbish!

What keeps you passionate?

We keep passionate by meeting new and exciting people, hearing about their wedding plans and making their day extra special by giving them something unique and personal to them. It also reminds us of how excited we were for our day

Do you like to keep up with trends? What’s your biggest trend to watch currently?

We always like to keep up with trends, and seeing what ‘the next big thing is’ in the wedding industry. Whether it’s something classical, or something modern and contemporary, we can design it and print it for you.

What’s next for your business?

We currently are building our client base, but we continually adding new and exciting products to our ever expanding website for everyone to see.

How do we book/use your services?

Once a client contacts us through our social media or website with their brief, we provide them with assistance of sizes and general ideas that we can provide. Once the client then pays for the item(s) on our website, our creative team then gets to work – we create your products in our design software to your specifications with creative flair and print know-how, so that when you get your products, they are printed and crafted perfectly. Once a design is produced, we email it out to the client, and then it’s at this point that you tell us what you want changing or tweaking. Once the design is settled, we crack on with the printing and finishing of your products and we send them out to you, using tracked delivery. Our customer notification system sends you an email when the shipment is on its way, so you can track your parcels to a 1 hour delivery slot.
